Road or Off Road? Flats or Clips? Baggies or Lycra? Carbon Fibre or Steel? Energy Gels or Flapjacks? Waving to others or steely eyed ignoring?

Modern biking is full of such nail biting choices. Do I have the answers? – No.

Do I really care? – most of the time probably not!

Why am I writing this? – I’m really not sure. There’s a lot out there on the world wide wonder web for bikers, lots of opinion, lots of jargon and certainly lots of argument. Theres certainly a lot of people who take themselves awfully seriously.

This blog will be my small contribution to the two wheeled community. One mans take on life and the difficulties thereof surrounding his inability to stop riding and spending money on bikes of various shapes and sizes, whilst attempting to keep his middle-aged waistline in check.

It won’t take itself to seriously, and if anyone reads it and tags along for the ride so much the better.

If i learn to use this website properly I might even add something interesting once in a while!
